Abstract

The digital work era requires employees to stay connected online for almost the entire working period, making the availability of internet data quota a fundamental need that supports smooth work activities. This study aims to analyse the effect of employees perception of the internet quota policy on work productivity in the digital work era through a human resource management (HRM) approach. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed randomly to 35 employee respondents working in the Aceh region. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution and mean values, and visualised through bar and line charts. The results show that employees perception of the internet quota policy is in the high category, with the ease of access to online work applications indicator obtaining the highest score. Furthermore, a tendency was found that the more positive the employees perception of the internet quota policy and the longer their tenure, the higher their perceived work productivity. These findings provide implications for HR management to continuously evaluate and adjust internet quota support policies to sustain employee work productivity in the digital era.
