SINERGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DAN BUDAYA SEKOLAH DALAM MEMBENTUK SIKAP MODERASI PENGHORMATAN PADA TRADISI DI TUBAN

Abstract

This research departs from the importance of instilling the values of religious moderation in students, especially in facing the challenges of extremism and the fading of respect for local traditions. Traditions such as grave pilgrimage and mahalul qiyam that have been carried out at MA Sumbersari are not only part of religious practice, but also function as a means of character education and the preservation of local values.

The formulation of the problem in this study includes: (1) How is the Design of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile and the Student Profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin in the religious moderation program at MA Sumbersari? (2) How is the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile in the religious moderation program at MA Sumbersari? (3) How is the evaluation of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and the Student Profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin in the religious moderation program at MA Sumbersari? The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the design, implementation, and evaluation of activities to cultivate an attitude of respect for tradition within the framework of religious moderation programs.

This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of field study, located at MA Sumbersari Kowang Semanding Tuban. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, curriculum waka, P5PPRA assistant teachers, and class X students as the main participants. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn.

The results of the study show that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile are carried out through the grave pilgrimage and mahalul qiyam program which is integrated into the P5PPRA independent curriculum. This activity has been systematically designed, carried out regularly every eight years, and actively involves students in the appreciation of local traditional values. The evaluation was carried out by the method of observation of attitudes and reflections, which showed a positive change in the way students appreciated and understood the importance of tradition as part of religious and national identity.
